"At such a young age Fergie is already an accomplished and extremely talented DJ. Way ahead of his time he is the perfect resident for POLYSEXUAL which will be held at Godskitchen's new venue CODE. He has played at GODSKITCHEN for 2 and a half years now and put simply the crowd love him....his career has only just begun and you should expect a lot more from this man" ; Godskitchen
Fergie's unique sound has already seen him DJ worldwide to South Africa, Hong Kong, Australia and America. In the summer of '98 he went to Ibiza for the first time and played at Privilege, Space and Bora Bora. While touring in America Fergie even managed to spend 5 days in the slammer after helping himself to an American number plate "DJ TECH" as a momentum. After his first tour of Australia it seems the clubbers couldn't get enough, so in April '99 Fergie went back and also came 2nd in the "Best International DJ awards - Melbourne '99".
"Fergie has an amazing ear for music" as said by Tony De Vit, this not only shows in his mixing skills but production as well. In January 1999 Fergie released his first single "Ooh Sir" on Trade Records which sold out in 5 days. He has since gone on to release "Friction" on Rude Boy, "Hoovers & Horn" and "House of Pain" both on Nukleuz. He was also approached by Pepper Records to remix The Tampera "Hammer to the Heart" and more recently by Ministry's Substance label for Trevor & Simon's "Put Your Hands Up". Fergie has also mixed and compiled his first compilation "Nukleuz Presentz... HardHouse Anthems". Fergie was then approached by DMC World to front the next "7 Live" compilation; out September 2000.
Fergie is fast becoming one of the country's most sought after DJ's, With all this demand Fergie needed someone to take care of him, so he approached Duty Free Artist Management and is now managed by Steffan Chandler. Fergie has also signed an exclusive 3 single deal with Duty Free Recordings and as soon as he signed on the dotted line he went straight into the studio and came out with his first release, "DECEPTION", out on the 28th August. Most recently, Fergie accompanied by Paul "Yomanda" Masterton has mixed Ministry of Sound's latest album, 'Hard Energy'.
