Phuzz Recordings

Phuzz Recordings began life in October 1997 as the brainchild of Neil Hinde, Dean Marriot, Leiam Sullivan and Lee Oakes. Neil and Dean felt it was a natural progression to own their own label after producing and Remixing for years under The Lisa Marie Experience banner and now also under Trickster. They came together with Leiam and Lee who previously ran the Beeswax label and recorded under Tom Tom and Footclub which later got signed to Mindfood in Chicago. They now produce under Mr Pink, Saturday People and Freak Movement.

The first release on Phuzz was a remake of Curtis Mayfield�s �Move on up� by Trickster, which immediately got licensed onto AM:PM and went on to be a national hit peaking at number 19 and a number 1 club hit.

Phuzz002 Manchester duo Hi-Rise �I believe in miracles� licensed to NorthWestside/BMG. Club chart number 10. Featured on Konami arcade game in Japan.

Phuzz003 Mr Pink �Candy� Featured on the Livewire playstation game. Club chart number 16. 

Phuzz004 Trickster �Stomp� Licensed to AM:PM. (Due for release in 2000) Club chart number 4.

Phuzz005 Turbo Funk �Strong� Club chart number 12.

Phuzz006 Hi-Rise�Givin it up� Club plays from DJ Disciple and Graeme Park. Remixes due in 2000 from 7th District & Funk Force (t.b.c)

Phuzz007 Saturday People �Feel so real� A limited release with plays from Graeme Park.

Phuzz008 Turbo Funk �Strong� Remixes from Dillon and Dickens.

Phuzz009 Isko �More E.P� On release now. Mixes by Super Deluxe and Galaxy plays from Alistair Whitehead and Graeme Park. Huge reactions from Italy to Majorca to Manchester.

The future of Phuzz Recordings begins now. Currently on promo release at the moment Mr Pink�s �Pink E.P Vol 2� which has support from Dave Pearce, Graeme Park, CJ Macintosh and Alistair Whitehead to name a few and is due for release on 29th November. Promos being mailed out before Christmas by Hyperactive from Lisa Marie Experience �Stay Strong� and DJ Angel�s disguise Angelheart �One Nation� a double pack with mixes from L.M.E, Super Deluxe and Mr Pink. Next year we have tracks signed from Italy �Magic Session�, Australia �Loverush�, a Miami Sampler with featured tracks from Super Deluxe, Isko, L.M.E and Mr Pink. There are also new releases from Isko vs Pete Doyle, The Lisa Marie Experience and a summer anthem from Mr Pink.
