BEATS FOR CHEATS an angry space funk odyssey half way between Shaft and the Propellerheads, touting full strings and brass, outrageous scratch action and some distinctly soulful yet disturbingly paranoid underclass lyrics. Inspired "Babylons Burning" remixers Zion Train to help steer the song dangerously close to the financial quarter (see below) while original mixers Blue Amazon promise a slick club treatment later in the year on their own Convert Records.
FUNKED UP AND FREAKED OUT previously on "Taster.....sounds from the funky underground" and rising to No 1 on Vitaminic's internet chart around the time of the band's Glastonbury appearance. A catchy acid inspired big beat dance tune with strong bluesy vocals. An anthem for real fucked up funksters.
N.F.A. sees the band journey into leftfield psychedelic triphop territories, all dubbed out bass, backwards guitars and powerful, emotional vocal melodies. No fixed abode but definately north of Portishead....
